Apathy infection

Staff meeting today. Once again, I'm the only nurse representing my floor... (2 techs & 1 secretary from my floor showed up as well, but that's it!) We have 18 full time nurses, so 1/18 turnout is pretty awful. Poor turnout is making me wonder what needs to be done to cure the apathy that is so rampant here at the hospital. I constantly say, "I'm quitting," but everyone knows I'm pretty much full of it. I love my work... the poblem lies when things get crazy and nobody seems to care. They're OK with the idea of pawning work off on other people... They don't jump when someone shouts for help.
