I started this new thing... Logged into this website called 43 things. It's pretty cool. You start thinking about the things you want to do, and there's people that talk about meeting these goals. Anyway, long story short - one of my goals was to visit all 50 states. I found a website that generates a map of states visited, to keep track. Pretty dang cool, so I thought I'd blog my states visited, to date.

Damaged

A lone tear

then succumbs to gravity
slowly burning
as it travels
chinward.

I'm wearing toothpaste
but no makeup.
Someone out there
would think it
endearing.
But me, I feel
frumpy and small.
Inadequate.

I'm the hard-ass
that needs reassurance
and wordless
conversations.
